Amazing Food, Horrible Service :(

After doing my presentation on Sunday evening (seriously, Sunday? *sigh*) with my friends,

I was really starving. So, my dad brought me to one of the seafood stall, a very small one, on "Jalan Genteng". It's not a restaurant, but merely a stall on the street. 

What you won't believe is that, it is sooo crowded and many people were queueing. 

"Oh, this must be good" I thought. I walked happily through the stall and queue. 

After a while, finally there's a group of 3 people who already finished eating and get up from their table. 

Without any further talking, I rush to their seats. Then, my dad order some menu. 

Here's some food that we've ordered !

"Kakap merah bakar" and also "Cumi goreng mentega"

We also order "Kerang Goreng Sambal" and yeah, their "Sambal Pencit" but I don't take photos of that. 

Minutes by minutes passed by, and I'm still in patience and wait for our order. 

I understand that they're incredibly busy with the orders.

But then, there's a family seat next to me (maybe they come 15 minutes later after me) and they get their order first!

I'm patience in queue, but my patience will evaporate immediately if I saw them doing things like that!

With a very deep breath, I called the waiter and said "My table hasn't got the order yet, and they already. They came after me. So I should get my order first before them."

Do you know what he reply? 

"Be patience la." (with a very very very annoying eye glance)

HELLO? I'm a customer here! I'm so angry with his attitude, I feel like I just want to leave that place ASAP. My dad said to me to let it go, but I just can't!

I think he realise that I'm a bit upset with his attitude, 2 minutes later, our order finally came out!

See, they CAN'T even differentiate which one they should serve first !

My eating mood has gone somewhere. Lazily, I took a bite at the food. 

Well, I can't deny that oh my God! It taste so delicious! 

The taste of the food fixed my mood juuussttt a liitttlleeee bit.

I'll give it 9 out of 10 for the food

0 out of 10 for the service, Sorry!

Will I come back?

I don't know. I'm very disappointed with their service. 

Maybe I'll ask my dad to bring it home later on instead of eating there.

Pasar Atom Traditional Food

Recently I go to Pasar Atom (located in Surabaya)
There are many reasons why you should go to Pasar Atom.
1. Foods (MY reason, haha)
2. Clothes
3. Bags
4. DVDs
Any other cheap stuffs you're looking for

Yes, I choose FOODS !
The foods in Pasar Atom is so complete, like you won't find others like this in Surabaya.

Overwhelm with so many choices of delicious foods, I made up my mind and decide to go to Kartika "Jajanan Pasar" stalls to have a sit and enjoy "Singkong Santan" with coconut ( but it's made from jelly !!) 

The Singkong is not too creamy and not to sweet, it's just perfect for me.
For the coconut jelly, yum ! Very creative idea though, turning the coconut water into a jelly.

Other reason I choose this place cause I fell in love with the interior design ! ( Just look at those woods hanging on the wall, oh my! Wish I have some of them for my kitchen house, haha)

Taste ? 9 out of 10 for both !

You should try some when you're visiting Pasar Atom :)
